Last Chance Night

At the conclusion of the spring semester, Intramural Sports will be hosting a “Last Chance Night” for any senior to participate in a variety events, with the winners receiving a championship t-shirt! Only students who are graduating in the Spring of 2011 are eligible to participate. The events will take place at the Armory and will include: a 3 point contest, soccer shootout, football passing competition, and much more! Don’t miss the last opportunity for you to win a University of Maryland championship t-shirt!

All Campus Championship

Beginning this semester, Intramural Sports will be conducting an all campus championship for 5v5 Basketball and 9v9 Soccer. The champions of the Men’s A, Men’s B, Frat A, and Frat B leagues will play in a 4 team, single elimination tournament. The semifinal round will match-up the Men’s A champion vs. the Frat B champion and the Frat A champion vs. the Men’s B Champion. The winners from each semifinal round will compete for the “All Campus Championship.” The Championships will take place the day after the league championship for each sport. The semi-finals and finals for 5v5 Basketball will take place at the Armory with the semi-finals beginning at 7:00 and the finals starting at approximately 8:30. The All Campus Championship for 9v9 Soccer will take place at the turf and the semi-finals and finals will also begin at 7:00 and 8:30.

In between the semifinal round and “All Campus Championship,” Intramural Sports will be holding various basketball competitions (i.e. 3 point contest, knockout, etc.) with the winner of each contest receiving a championship t-shirt! Any student can participate in these competitions and will give you a chance to redeem that heart breaking playoff loss. Join us for our first ever “All Campus Championship” to show off your skills, see the best basketball players on campus and crown the best intramural basketball team on campus!
