Senior Huevos started out with the ball and managed to score the first point of the game. At the start both teams were playing great defense which was aided by the fact that neither team was shooting all that well. At the beginning of the game BDS seemed to have the most success getting points on rebounds while Senior Huevos could only seem to score by getting the ball inside. Senior Huevos went on a 5-1 scoring run which made the game 8-3 but BDS was not done. BDS scored 2 quick baskets to cut the score to 8-5. BDS was then able to tie the game up after a big fade away jump shot followed by a steal and a quick two pointer. With the game tied at 8 Senior Huevos was able to go on another 5-1 run. BDS called a timeout with down 4 points with the score being 13-9. BDS came fired up out of the time out and were able to get the score to 13-12 thanks to some solid defense which included a steal and 2 blocked shots. Just when it seemed that BDS was about to finish their comeback, Sean Echlbeck made a 2 point shot to end the game. In an interview following the game, Senior Huevos seemed to believe that they were going to be able to keep the same core of guys together to make a run at the 5v5 championship in the spring semester.
